I've been super busy working on two new series starters: a MG Fantasy Adventure: AVALINA JONES AND THE EYE OF THE STORM and a YA Historical Mystery set in 1920s Hollywood, SPEAK EASY, A KATE MARCH MYSTERY. Both pub dates in the Fall of this year, 2021.

For Diane's Book Blog, I was asked to provide a Character Interview. This was new to me and lots of fun. Wish I had done this while writing the series! My debut novels were a series of three books and I knew from the start how they would play out. I never had writer's block while writing the Soulkeepers but when I needed to work out scenes or whatever, I would take a walk or listen to music, or both. Stepping away from the work helps to clear the mind. I can't say what I would do for severe writer's block, and I'm hoping I never have to deal with. I have a pretty healthy imagination. If you've read my books you'll see that I tend to put a LOT of layers and details in them. I could have added even more to the entire series!!
