Honestly, I really want to spend a month having a retreat at Jaqueline's house in BECAUSE FAT GIRL. Sure, the obvious answer would be the mansions of Drew and Chris, but they would feel lonely and sterile all by myself. Whereas Jaqueline has made her home the perfect little writing bungalow. I'd sit on the chair in the backyard – you know, *the* chair (you'll know soon if you haven't read it yet!) – and write. Go inside and open the "icebox" for that last piece of cheesecake she's saved for me. Swim in the pool when I'm creatively stuck. I think that would be a writerly dream.

This is a sad one, but why do so many family members have cancer? I always felt like it could be a mystery book that's a combination Erin Brokevich and Friday Night Lights looking into my small farming town and the toxic chemicals dumped there by big corporations.
I've written parts of it into my book about my hometown, but right now, I'm enjoying writing happily ever afters too much. <3
