Many years ago I worked in the Swat valley, even before the lady Malala was born in Mingora! It is a beautiful place and on a clear day I could see K2, just. Where are you from?

Jamaluddin Jamali I am from Lahore which is known as the heart of Pakistan. It is historic city where the monuments built by the British and others who came before them can still be seen standing with their head high, gracefully, telling the story of the time which though is nowhere now but can be felt in its air. You can breath it. You visit Lahore and I will welcome you. It is capital of Punjab, a province of Pakistan.

Hi why did you become an author ?

Jamaluddin Jamali Good question, indeed. I had a strong desire to tell stories, and when I realised that I have a story that I must tell I wrote it down and that is my novel The Sin of Killing. It shows dark sides of Pakistan, though it has many bright faces and gleaming hearts that feels the other people's sorrow and want peace in the world.
