Take a breather. Thirty minutes or an hour. When you come back, change your thinking. The big picture can overwhelm. Reduce your field of vision to a smaller, more immediate level with the character and the action you're describing, etc. Slow down and walk the narrative through the rough patch. Bit by bit, you'll make it.
