David Williamson I think about a current character or situation in one of my books and get excited to see what will happen.
David Williamson I start with a character. In this case a Grandfather. I began to ask questions about him and what he could do in dealing with a crime. One day I thought of a Grandfather telling stories of his past. That is when the idea came of a crime from when this Grandfather was a young man. This case became a cold case and the Grandfather could help the police because he knew the people involved. My book “They’re All Dead” came out this simple idea.
