Yes, I'm currently writing book two. I have two daughters (4 and 9 months old) so at the moment I don't get a lot of time to write. As for publication, I can't say for certain. If the stars align, early next year.

I don't really know where Lilly came from. I started writing this book with a totally different idea in mind and after the first chapter, I realized Lilly had her own plans and my original idea disappeared. My great grandmother lost her mother from TB at the same age as Lilly. I wonder if she's been inspiring me somehow. I never had the chance to meet her but I imagine her sadness was the same as Lilly's.

Actually I find that I come up with my best ideas, lines, ect. when taking a shower or driving in my car. I have no idea why but my opening line to the Lilly Stars came to me while I was washing shampoo out of my hair haha.

I listen to music that goes with the book time. With the Lilly Stars, I listened to a lot of classical.
