I've been inspired by every book I've ever read, the journeys these books have taken me on, educating me, delighting me, filling me with wonder. I'm also very inspired by music, especially opera and progressive rock. There is a world of wonderful narrative in that music.

We're currently working on the sequel to our first book "Daram", which will be called "Varashti", and takes the story further in a three part series (or maybe five part series - not yet sure. The story seems to have an organic power of its own to determine its size).

It's fun and challenging and you get to work at odd hours. You miss the camaraderie of work friends however, but make up for it in social time.

I take a long walk with my husband and just talk about life the universe and everything, and generally find that inspirational.
