I'm pretty lucky, I haven't had it. I have writer's terror...how will I make a living? Will this sell? What am I doing?! WHY DON'T I WORK AT COSTCO?! (if they'd have me.) But block. No. Not yet. Fingers crossed.

Aach! What a great question. Middle Grade fiction! I love middle graders. And I am so excited about the books that are pre-published. Ha! We have a historic fiction set on the high seas. It's Captain's Courageous meets Orphan Train. And the other book is what we're calling historic--science fiction. A new genre. And that's Little House on the Prairie meets The Martian. More to come!

Actually, twas my brother's idea. He kind of half wrote it and then it sat on a shelf for over a year. So it was like an expanded idea in need of some TLC. I was surfing about and saw PrimeTimeBooks was looking for something that seemed related. We've wanted to do a project together forever. This seemed like a good fit. We sent out a query and voila, we had a deal. All we needed was the book to go with the deal...but that's another story.
