I stop writing ;)
My creativity tends to ebb and flow. When I feel "stuck" I simply put writing to the side and pick up another activity that will energize me. Then I'll go back to writing when it feels right. The important thing is not to judge myself during that process.

I have a few projects that I'm taking on right now. Setting up speaking engagements to share my story is priority number one. I'm working on creating workshops to help readers of Letters for Lucia begin really applying the principles in their daily lives. Lastly, I'm starting my second book. The next book will be a bridge into leadership that shares principles designed to help leaders create new organizational outcomes by increasing their own levels of compassion, humility, authenticity, etc.

Inspiration is all around us! It's important for me to find that quiet space in my mind where I can connect with my own intuition. I usually get there through meditation. My most productive writing has taken place right after a good meditation.

The book captures my real life experience of dealing with the international parental abduction of my 11-month old daughter. So that was the catalyst for writing the narrative. Shortly after the abduction I used to write letters to my daughter as a way to connect with her emotionally while we were separated. That led to the creation of the letters explaining each of the principles in the book It was my way of parenting from afar.
