I write about my life. After spending over a decade on the radio, I've learned that people like to relate to what they read. Many of the characters are inspired by people I know and many of my scenes are inspired by real life events. (I love the Corktown parade!)

I'm working on the other two books in the series concurrently. The second book is proving to be more challenging than I expected. The third book is actually the first book I wrote. I'm working to cut the length on it and rework some of the characters. I hope to have both books out in 2016.

I think we all struggle with this. For me, it requires taking a break and often a change of scenery. I love writing from coffee shops because of the energy it brings.
