After I retired, I switched gears to fiction and started “St. Catherine’s Crown.” Took about ten years of off and on work to complete the narrative.
S. Martin Shelton When I was a nipper, I read a short story about Grand Duchess Anastasia. Somehow she was alive and living incognito in the USA. The idea that she survived the regicide had always intrigued me. My novel “St. Catherine’s Crown: started as a short story, then evolved into a longer short story, then into a novella, then into the current book.
