When I was a young teenager, my favorite video game went missing. One day it was there, then next it just simply disappeared from my parent's basement, where my gaming console was set up. (I won't tell you what gaming console it was, nor the type of TV it was hooked up to, because that will completely date me). I never found out what happened to that video game. As mundane as it may initially seem, I can envision multiple tantalizing avenues for a mystery here -- especially in light of the name and plot of the video game...
