My youth: I placed my books (thus far) and characters, in the fictional town of Brattenburg, NY; it's really a pseudonym for the small town where I grew up, in upstate New York. I consider the series a homage of sorts, to living small everywhere! I have changed most of the names of the locations slightly, and have used some first names of friends and family as characters, but that's where any similarity to reality ends! They say write what you know, I try!

I'm currently working on an offshoot to the Bliss series called Brats...it's a focus on two of the other characters in the little group of friends Maggie hangs out with. Maggie's still there, along with all the other Brats! We're just delving deeper into other characters stories!
