K.A. Lentz I would go to middle earth and attend Bilbo's 111th birthday.
K.A. Lentz Reading with my husband, we're working on the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon and nearly done with book two (fun reading them again with my husband who is experiencing them for the first time). As for solo reading, I have a bevy of indie author books that I will be delightfully delving into this summer! =D
K.A. Lentz Couple summers back I saved a baby robin, who had been chirping all night long according to my mom, from the stairwell in my mother's garage. After learning to fly and encouraged to explore, little Jo-Jo disappeared one day never to return. While the realist in me likely knows the heartbreaking truth, there is the part of me that wonders if little Jo is off flying high with a family somewhere in the world.
K.A. Lentz There are so very many across stage and page. However, on the spot, I’d say Giving Tree from The Giving Tree for my favorite literary character. It selflessly doled out all it had to offer to the boy it loved. When I read the book as a kid, the story and its message of friendship impacted me greatly. So I’d have to say that Giving Tree was one of my first, favorite.
K.A. Lentz Oooh, tough one! I’d say for the gals, Kaiyssa. She’s very powerful and has a golden heart to go along with her charm and skill. For the gents, I’d say Miach. That guy is one cool cat, and I’ve always had a soft spot for the troubled hero with a pure heart.
K.A. Lentz The person from history I would most like to meet has to be the first human being. To see and talk with the root of us, the joy and strife that shaped us in the beginning, I can’t think of someone with more of a story to tell.
K.A. Lentz Don't force it, switch to another task. Best and first among any group of options is research, and secondly is to go outside and get some air.
K.A. Lentz You're afforded the privilege of being the first to read your book! Others, of course, like expression, the feeling of fulfillment, and coming into your own are excellent too.
K.A. Lentz Get lots of advice and consider it fairly, however, do what feels right; you're the artist.
K.A. Lentz Book Two of the series and my short story, side project; The Reaper Realm Chronicles.
K.A. Lentz I feel it's time to sit down and write, overcome by an idea.
K.A. Lentz It started about eighteen years ago after I had a dream, literally, about all sorts of fantasy beings trapped by a wizard and trying to get home; I was the wizard's assistant sneaking in to free them all. It wasn't until round about ten years ago I started passively developing the idea, and another four passed before I officially began the book.
