I love the freedom and autonomy I have when writing. I get to decide what to write about, how to address the topic, when to write, and for how long. It's not a nine-to-five job. It's more of a lifestyle, and something that's always with you, rather than occurring at a designated time of day.

I'm a new writer and have never experienced writer's block, so I don't know how best to deal with it. I suppose I would walk away from my writing pad or computer and focus on other activities for a while, be it an hour, a day, or even a week, if necessary.
