Louise Dando-Collins My favourite couple would be Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson.
The stories, 60 in all, were written by a Scotsman, Arthur Conan Doyle. The series has kept us entertained for a long time. At one time the author killed Sherlock Holmes, but the readers were furious, and he had to bring him back to life.
Louise Dando-Collins Hello there,
That's nice, thank you. My books are available on AMAZON. Kindle and Hard Copy. Cheers. You might like KATO, he sells well. Louise X

Louise Dando-Collins 'TO CATCH KATO' is a sequel. (not so easy!)
Louise Dando-Collins This is a tricky one!
I have been married to STEPHEN DANDO-COLLINS for over 30 years.
All I ever see of him is the back of his head - he has written 40 books! He is a genius, with a very versatile mind as you'll see from the variety of work he's done. His expensive website has just suddenly disappeared!
So, after I spent 10 years planting trees, and setting up my garden in the old NUNNERY that we bought - I thought what do I do now?
So........I pulled out a manuscript that Stephen encouraged me to begin over 30 years ago and it will be out on AMAZON soon. It is a memoir-based fiction, and the title is THE OTHER SIDE OF LILLY. And in-between writing this cathartic, often emotionally painful work, I wrote KATO,
A CASTLE FOR SALE, and FOTHERMUCKER which are all on KINDLE and AMAZON.
Louise Dando-Collins Earlier, I said that I was working on a sequel to 'KATO'.
This title could be a bit of a spoiler, but here goes if it makes you buy!
"TO CATCH KATO".
Louise Dando-Collins A very famous writer was invited to make a speech in front of an admiring auditorium full of would-be writers. When he came to the podium, and the audience imagined that they were going to be given some of the magic he possessed.......he looked squarely out into the audience, and said:
"So, you want to be writers, do you? Well you should be at home with a pad and pencil, and write, and rewrite until you finally have something!"
Then he left the stage!
Louise Dando-Collins I don't have to catch the bus in the morning to go to work!

And truthfully, a creative 'job' is very self-satisfying. Like an artist,
a potter, a gardener, (although the weeds do keep growing).
Not so much, (in my opinion) an entertainer, because the work dries up, as does the applause!
Louise Dando-Collins I am endeavouring to write a sequel to 'KATO'.
To get started.....I did some research to learn about his NEW habitat in the forests of Tanzania, because the jungle is unknown to him, having been captured as a baby, raised in captivity, then returned there after a 'Free Kato' campaign in the media.
I learned about the habits of elephants, rhinos, birds, poachers, weather patterns, etc. BUT, facts do not make a story! So, I use these facts, and marry them into the daily life of KATO and his new family. But the facts MUST contribute to progressing the story! The plot is already in my head, as a 'WHAT IF'. The same as I did with the first book:
'KATO is a chimpanzee raised in captivity and star of the Darwin Research Institute in Santa Barbra, California. He is returned to the wild following a 'Free Kato' campaign in the media, and introduced to a colony of wild chimpanzees. He uses skills taught to him by human handlers to overthrow the alpha male, before leading his new 'family' on a quest. A quest which becomes a rampage.......
It's a story for any age. On AMAZON and KINDLE.
