Music is a huge part of finding both inspiration and motivation. I also read a lot and watch a lot of anime and other shows and movies. Sometimes you see something that just lights the spark for a fun new project. I also watch a lot of videos on YouTube by various internet reviewers. Sometimes a throwaway line inspires a story. Inspiration can come from anywhere. I actually began writing Akiyama Quest after a horrible tragedy happened in my personal life. You can turn anything into a way to create something that could become someone’s favorite book.

Right now I have several books in progress that I’m very excited about. I’m finally finishing up my portal fantasy Akiyama Quest. I have been writing a book about a fictional internet reviewer and his adventures. I also have begun to dabble in LitRPG! While fantasy is something I will continue to write, I’m looking for ways to do things that you rarely see in books in the USA. Anime and Japanese light novels are a great source of inspiration because of how insanely creative they are.
