I've always been fascinated by the King Arthur myth, and I wanted to tell my own version. There are strong homoerotic overtones in Mallory's "Le Morte d'Arthur," at least as viewed through modern eyes, and the strict delineation of sexuality didn't exist back in the era when Arthur would have lived. I thought it would be useful and entertaining to strip the Tudor and Victorian veneers away and try to tell the story of a truly Celtic, sub-Roman Arthur.

I can be inspired by almost anything: music, nature, memes on the internet, some random thing someone says... My plot bunnies are numerous and everywhere. The urge to actually sit down and do the writing is omnipresent and is like an itch inside my brain. I have to write, or I'll go mad.

I'm currently working on the "Arthur Rex" series, with book four currently in the writing stage. I'm also writing under a pen name and submitting short stories to various anthologies.
