There are two fictional couples that deserve honorable mention before I make my selection Carmon Majare & Tika Wayland and Tanis and Laurana. Both couples were featured in Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman's epic Dragon Lance Chronicles series. Both couples featured an older more experienced male and a young and inexperienced female member. What was exciting was how both of the ladies, during the course of the story, grew tremendously and became heroes in their own right. Overall, my favorite fictional couple is Terry Goodkind's Richard Cypher and Kahlan Amnell. They were first featured in his debut novel Sword of Truth. Their love, tempered in the fires of adversity across a dozen plus novels epitomizes a loving and supportive couple.

I am currently working on two projects. The sequel to my first book Scourge of Byzantium called Damascus of the Damned. The action switches back to Damascus. Can Athos and the remaining warriors of the 5th Parthica defend their homes against the growing threat of the bewitched cannibals?
The other project I am working on is non-fiction called: The Successful Ten Minute a Month Retirement Plan for 401Ks and IRAs. Today with the virtual elimination of pensions and the well documented decline of Social Security we are more responsible for our own retirement planning. Most of us lead incredibly full lives and just don't have much time left over at the end of the month to spend retirement planning. We've only got one shot to get this right. This book will teach you a proven blueprint to a successful retirement that not only doesn't take much of your time but will allow you to sleep at night too.

I've always had a passion for Byzantine history. The struggles they faced on a constant basis from all sides we're daunting. To survive those challenges for a thousand years was an amazing feet. I want my readers to see them as I see them and appreciate their culture and the challenges they faced. To that end I combined an element of popular culture that I love Zombies and introduce them to the 7th Century Byzantines. The results we're fun to write!
