I've got six different story ideas. I just got done storyboarding for my fourth novel (It's a secret!)

I step away from what I'm writing and do something that brings me peace or joy in some way. After I've attained peace, I return to my work with a fresh pair of eyes. If that doesn't work, I read back what I've written from start to finish (this also helps with the editing process) and I use the "Read Aloud" function on Word to see how what I've written would sound like to a reader.

There are no aspiring writers. Just because you've never published a book doesn't mean you're not a writer; even just having the idea for a book, storyboarding and creating characters makes you a writer. Stop calling yourself "aspiring" and just be a writer.
