Fourth Michael Poe book in the works: up to 18th chapter. Its called The Vatican Cop. As far as Jennifer, you’ll just have to wait and see. Thank you so much for reading my books. It makes writing so worth while.

I thought about it, but have not researched what is involved. An image people have of your story and characters is created when reading and follows from book to book in a series. Now putting a voice to it changes everything. Maybe in the future I’ll make the attempt.

A Selfless Man is my wife’s favorite. It’s more of a tear-jerker about a black athlete who goes from the pinnacle to the bottom, but with a unique twist. Most readers said they cried while reading it. I think you’ll like it.

I'd like to read The Policewomen by Justin W.M. Roberts which came as a recommendation from my Goodreads friend, John, the two Safe Havens books by J.T. Patten and anything written by Daniel Silva.

Why did my father leave us? Actually, the question did inspire my second book: A Selfless Man. Different characters, but it explores the base emotions of a young man and the hatred manifested by it.
Of course in my book, the main character reacts the way I'd have wanted my father to. Unfortunately that was not the case in my life. Tough one to write.

Read your book and had no idea it was so personal an issue. I think it was your best novel. Sad, but uplifting.

Thankfully, I've never experienced it.

Writing is a release. Completing something you have created from nothing - start to finish and seeing it in print is a great feeling.

Two things: if you start a book, finish it. And second: have it edited. What you think is perfect never is.

Recently I vacationed in Italy which inspired my current book. It's something of a fantasy with dark undertones. Of course there are the beautiful women, handsome men and evil villains. The story is twisted and unique. Fun so far!

Inspiration comes from the satisfaction of putting words on a page. Each word is a small victory. I use my old profession, Special Agent from Homeland Security as a backdrop for my story base. It was a lot of fun and truth is stranger than fiction. Many of the things in my writing comes from actual experience.

I kind of did it backwards: fleshing out the characters first and then making the plot fit. It was more word-association than anything else. The stories come easily for some reason, trying to make an unbelievable set of circumstances believable. The best lies have a little truth.
