I just finished the first draft of a new fantasy/science fiction novel that I'll release in Jan 2018. I'm currently writing another fantasy novel and almost done.

This is from the movie "Throw Momma from the Train" but a "Writer Writes"... Get a pad of paper or tablet and just start writing things down, whether they by just notes or part of a story. I'm full of cliches today ... but completing your first story or novel begins with the first page.

I enjoy creating new characters and seeing how they can "evolve" over time. I also enjoy the research that's often involved when looking for new locations/settings, technology, and/or whatnot that my characters might experience.
