I maintain a Resources page on the book's blog which has recommended books (including a link to my 'followership' shelf here on Goodreads) and a YouTube playlist of followership-related videos. You can find it here: https://embracingfollowership.com/res...
Chapters 11 & 12 of my book, Embracing Followership, also offer extensive reviews of resources helpful to followers who want to engage in a journey of personal development.

Fundamentally, I was looking to answer the question of "Where is the book that's written for me?" As a non-leader, where is the resource that will validate, encourage, and guide me in my desire to contribute with excellence to my various teams, working groups, and community associations. I first encountered the word 'followership' in 2011, and that set me off on exploring this complementary idea to leadership. My next project, which I've just begun drafting, is a follow-up to Embracing Followership; it's a small group/team discussion guide that will bring the personal journey of following with excellence (as detailed in Embracing Followership) and bring it into a group context to discuss experiences and applications to a variety of life situations. It will also serve to highlight much of the Christian/biblical background that has informed my own thinking and journey.

Start writing, and write until you're done! Get your ideas out there...into a Word document, or a note taking app (I especially like Microsoft's OneNote)...start with a bulleted list and then craft it into prose later. Undoubtedly, there will be plenty of revisions and structural changes once you get into the formal editing process, so don't worry about generating a perfect text from the get-go. Just write!
