SO many! The new releases (or soon-to-be released) that I'm most looking forward to are "The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue" by Mackenzi Lee and "Romancing the Werewolf" by Gail Carriger.
Currently, to kick off the summer, I'm reading "Fish and Ghosts" by Rhys Ford.
I also plan to finish reading the "Charm of Magpies" series by K.J. Charles, check out "Stranger Than Fanfiction" by Chris Colfer (because I adore him), and many more. My TBR list is currently sitting at 52 titles. So, that should keep me busy for a while. haha

You probably wouldn't have been able to guess this answer by a long shot. When I was a child, I was completely smitten with the romance between Robin Hood and Maid Marian; and a little later, Rick & Evelyn (of 'The Mummy').
These days, my favorite couple would have to be a tie between either Carlos and Cecil ('Welcome To Night Vale') or Yuri and Viktor ('Yuri On Ice').
Ultimately, my favorite couples are ones that think the absolute world of each other and push each other to be the best versions of themselves.

Let go of any self doubt. Whatever that negative thing is that you let stand between you and writing, get rid of it. Writing, like all art forms, is a medium of expression. You're not going to pick the wrong words. They'll be the right ones because they're coming directly from you. Trust me. Just write. Write, write, write.

(view spoiler)[I had the idea for 'The Revelation of Dacey Sinnett' when I was finishing up writing 'ROAM'. I knew the direction that I wanted to take his character but I felt that there was a lot of backstory that would be better explored through a prequel novel rather than trying to incorporate flashbacks in a different book. It gave me the opportunity to set things up for the future and also to spend a lot of time writing one of my favorite characters! (hide spoiler)]

I find that taking a week off to delve into different activities is always helpful. For me that's usually drawing or researching related topics of interest. For a quick dose of inspiration, I usually turn to music. I have several writing playlists for the characters in my books so that I can set the mood for writing them.

For me it's being able to bring my characters to life. Getting them out of my head, onto a page, and out into the world is an amazing feeling. Especially when people come back to tell you how much they like or identify with them.

A prequel to 'ROAM' about Dacey Sinnett. After that, I will be writing the sequel.

I garner a lot of my inspiration from music. I create playlists of songs that I feel would make a good soundtrack to my books. Listening to them before I write helps to get me into the mood of the story.
