Generally, the idea for RIVERSIDE came from my overall experience living in Austin, Texas in my early twenties.
Specifically, it came from a party down off Riverside that I attended my first weekend living in Austin, and from a poem I wrote around the same time about a young couple and a small child living a simple life in the leafy Austin neighborhood of Hyde Park.
