Katherine Davis Hello! I'm so glad you're enjoying the series! I'm still toiling away on the book. This year has been hectic; health problems, getting married, and finally an unexpected move set me back a great deal. Things are steadier now so I'm working hard to finish it up and I'm hoping - HOPING - to have it out before the end of the year. Here's to keeping our fingers crossed!
Katherine Davis So sorry for the terrible delay in answering you. Book three is coming along nicely. Life has been more hectic than planned, go figure. But if everything stays steady I'm hoping for a release before the end of the year. The third book will be titled "Guarding Hope."
Katherine Davis It started with a single question: What if Fate and Karma were real?
Katherine Davis Life inspires me. I think writers see the world a bit different. Every person they come across is a potential character template. Every news blurb, music lyric, rumor, and experience is fodder for a story. I can't help but ask "what if" and start weaving story webs out of the idea sparks that follow.
Katherine Davis I'm working on Karmic Justice, Book 2 of the Child of Fate Series. I'm really excited because it should be out very soon!
Katherine Davis Read. Research. Then do it.

It sounds simple but that's the truth. I've never met a writer who didn't start out as an avid reader first. And then the itch to share your own story starts, but it's intimidating. Research how others started, play around with the suggested processes until you find one that works for you. After that, it's all a matter of doing.
Katherine Davis Creating people, places, and entire worlds for readers to escape into. Real life is often hard and cruel, but a good story can grant a bit of relief. I love being able to provide that for others.
Katherine Davis Walk away from the computer. When inspiration is low, it's usually time to do a bit of living. Listen to music, take a walk, play a game, chat with family, anything that brings me out of my head and forces me back into the real world. I believe the Muse needs a break once in a while, and once rested, inspiration returns full force.
