The urge to write the book is to present all the different aspects of Hinduism in simple easy to understand language so that everybody, especially the younger generation who is eager to know the religion, can comprehend its major features. It is also an attempt to recognize Hinduism's rational, liberal, secular, progressive and diverse fundamentals to save it from fanatics and pseudo gurus and preachers.

It is a rational and fascinating involvement in spiritual knowledge and in practices offering comprehensive choices. It is also an engagement in philosophies for analytic debates.It is for that reason that the idea for the book came to present all the aspects of the religion beyond its rituals, customs and traditions.
