Eamonn Donohoe Hi Margaret,

Thanks for the note and I'm glad it made it safely. Happy reading - hope it makes you a little nostalgic and that you enjoy. Apologies in advance for any bad language ;)

Keep in touch,
Eamonn
Eamonn Donohoe Thoughts that cross my mind or observations. You see or hear something and think "that would make for a great piece of dialogue." Make a note of it in your phone and don't forget it. Suddenly you've written another paragraph while on the bus!
Eamonn Donohoe My marriage! My wife was tremendously supportive when I was writing so now I'm trying to give her and our son the attention they deserve. I've got something kicking around in the attic though - watch this space!
Eamonn Donohoe Write! There are people I know, people I've worked with and people I've went to school with who are probably better writers than me but they've never written anything. I have. You can get lost thinking "I'd love to write something." Put down the remote, open your laptop or even the notes app on your phone and get something down. A couple of hundre words is easy to knock out and after that you're pedalling so why not continue?!
Eamonn Donohoe Loads of things! I like to write and that in itself is gratifying. There's the escapism of creating a new world with new people and of course the satisfaction of seeing your name on the cover of a book. Nothing can top that I'd say.
Eamonn Donohoe Good question! If there was a way to beat it manually, I'm sure I could make millions. For me, I try a combination of things; I reflect on what I've written so far and try to work through scenarios of the recupercussions of he ripples that night cause, making notes of needs be.

Secondly, I try to put some distance between me and writing and let my subconscious tackle it. Sometimes the answer just sneaks up on you when you least expect it. Once you get a bit of momentum, uou can get beyond that block.
