The first book that comes to mind are both Nora Roberts' Angels Fall. It is set near the Grand Tetons, a place we've always wanted to visit. I would leave my phone and other gadgets behind and just explore the beauty.

So many books. So little time. In addition to working on some editorial rewrites of Lovers Key and starting my 3rd in a series, I'm taking breaks and reading The Girl Who Knew Too Much (Jayne Anne Krentz). I'm looking forward to releases of Capturing the Queen by Sarah Andre, Come Sundown by Nora Roberts, Wired by Julie Garwood and Dying Breath by Heather Graham. Busy summer.

Our family lost our dad before I turned six years of age. After that, we had little to no contact with his family. What we do know is interesting…Born in Wyoming, part Native American, bronc rider… Might make a good research project that could be filled with some interesting twists and turns.

Thank you for asking. It's hard to choose just one because I have so many but I guess the couple I revisit most often are Reece and Brody from Nora Roberts' Angel Falls. Reece is damaged but she is fighting her way back to a new norm. Brody is blunt, unpolished and doesn't cut her any slack. Together they make a unique pair.

There wasn't one single idea that developed into the book but a number of thoughts, people and places that came together. I am extremely honored have met and made friends with some men and women of our armed forces. Stories they've told along with my background and the area in which I live came together to become Sanctuary Island. Characters I want to visit often live there. It is my sincere hope that others will feel the same.

A sequel to Sanctuary Island. It will feature one of the characters from the first book and introduce some new ones. Don't worry, Colt and Cat James will hang around.
