Persevere with your writing. If the time really isn't right, then maybe come back to it. But somehow, be prepared to coax, crowbar, bludgeon the words into shape. When you're finished be prepared to re-work it so that the text sounds right to you and anyone you've pinned down who will listen to you.

Like so many people I've always wanted to write, but a couple of years ago I began to make consistent attempts to do so. I've had many false starts, but kept returning to improve the text.

Naturally there isn't one single idea or source for the book, but something did fire up the old imagination a while back: the theory that infrasound in certain locations could be an explanation for ghostly apparitions or feelings of unease.
