I very rarely have writer's block as I plan everything out. I write a paragraph for every chapter of the book before writing a page of the novel itself. This way I know the story works and is solid. That doesn't mean things can't change, but it means there is always something to write, even if it may need rewriting.

The best advice I could give is to keep writing. The brain is like a muscle and the more you use it for something the better you will get. Also, learn to take advice, but remember advice is just that - advice. Take what you feel is right and discard the rest.

Deep Control is the fourth book in the John McCready series. The books aim to be pure escapist entertainment and this one is no different. It takes a look at the world we are in today in respect of the climate change disaster that is coming down the line, and uses this as a backdrop to tell an action/adventure story, but highlight the issues in an exciting way. There is science in there, but also a thrilling ride that will hopefully keep readers on the edge of their seats.
