Don't get into writing for fame or money, do it because you're passionate about it. Never give up with it; it's a wonderful thing to do.

Being able to express myself without worrying whether people like it or not. Writing is a very personal thing and although I do share it, it worries me not what others think. It's a great outlet & it's nice to know some of my words have touched other people & made them feel less alone.

The book I'm going to be working on next will be inspired by my own circumstances & events. A lot of my work is confessional but a lot of it is made up too. I take inspiration from everything and everyone around me.

I've always enjoyed writing & have been inspired by Sylvia Plath & JK Rowling but had my A Level English Literature and Language teachers Anna and Jake not encouraged me to write more and not told me that I'm a good writer, I'd probably never have continued. Also being a finalist in Wicked Young Writer's Award really fuelled my need & desire to continue writing. So I have all of those wonderful people to thank for inspiring and encouraging me.

A new poetry book and two young adult novels. I'm not rushing though, they'll be finished when they're finished :-)
