Peter Pactor Writer's block hasn't been a problem for me, because of the way I work. I work in half-hour increments. After thirty minutes I stop what I'm doing. If the writing has been flowing well, it will continue when I begin again. If the writing has not been going well, after thirty minutes it is time to stop. Usually, the writing flows better in my next session. Even sitting at my computer and writing nothing is an advantage. I can focus on where I'm going and allow the story and characters to percolate in my mind where the subconscious will take over. The characters themselves often drive my story and lead me where I need to go.
