That's a hard question. Harry Potter's world, I think. But I'm fascinated by so many others...Jasper Fforde has created some very original and interesting worlds I'd love to visit.

That's a loaded question, lol. My list is gigantic and still growing. Let's see:
Thief of Lies by Brenda Drake, Strawberry Kisses by Marianne Rice, The Wanderer and After the Scrum by Dahlia Donovan, All About the Swoon boxset by Belinda Boring, Do Not Disturb by Mary Billiter, pretty much all books written by Lindsay Detwiler, Remember Yesterday by Pintip Dunn, The Beauty of Darkness by Mary E. Pearson, Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard... too many to mention. And I just pre-ordered Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare.

I always had a knack for learning languages but I learned English at an incredibly fast pace and in a much shorter time than my other ones (I speak five). I could never understand why. I think I could probably create a character who learns a strange and alien language only to find out she/he has been "chosen" for some larger-than-life mission, lol. Actually I can think many different ways I could use that in a plot... **scampers away to go write down some ideas**

Tough question. I have this weird fascination with Catherine and Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights. They are both the opposite of what I like in characters. In fact they are both rather despicable but their love was so strong it defied death itself. Also they are both victims of their circumstances and I am a sucker for outcasts. But there are so many "favorite" couples in my list :) Elizabeth and Darcy, Emma and Mr. Knightley, Alec and Magnus, Buffy and Spike... a wide variety as you can tell, lol.

We Will Always Have the Closet started as a piece of flash fiction from a prompt given to me by one of the members in my local writing group. The prompt required that I write a short story about two people who do not know each other and are put in a situation where they have to improvise in order to get out of the situation they are in. Sam and Petra were born from this idea :)

Inspiration is everywhere; people I meet, things I see, places I have been to or would like to go to, history, music, art in every form...

I just finished a fantasy novel called The Desert Jewel. I am truly excited about this one because I have poured a lot of my cultural experiences, ideas, and imagination into it. While editing this one I am starting a new contemporary romance (possible suspense) tentatively titled "It Was Always You". Like "We Will Always Have the Closet " it emerged from a piece of flash fiction I wrote a while back. As soon as I finished it I knew I HAD to write a full novel.

Don't ever give up. It took me literally a lifetime to be published . Hone your craft and don't be cocky enough to think that the first thing you ever write is perfect :) But most of all just write.

For me is to be able to create your own reality; to go places I have never been to or wish to go back to, to do things I never did and probably never will. It's a chance to travel within your own head, to escape reality and to give this introvert a chance to voice her ideas, dreams, fears...

I read, I watch a lot of good movies and TV shows, and I listen to music. Normally I get inspired again within a couple days. I also try to write flash fiction. Short and sweet to exercise the creative muscle :)
