Never, ever quit. Finish it. Present it. Let people tell you what garbage it is. Tell yourself what garbage it is. Cry. Take a walk. Set it aside for a bit. But don't you ever quit. Come back to it and cringe, and then take one long look at it and find that beautiful thing that begs of you to start on it again. Like a lotus sitting atop a bog, find that one beautiful thing.

I don't get inspired to write, I get inspired to tell stories. Writing is the tool of delivery and sometimes, I find myself having these wonderful days where I revel in playing with language and constructing beautiful prose. The other days? Well, I feel like I'm trying to build something out of crumbling bricks and broken glass, all the while deciding if I need more coffee, or something a bit "stiffer."
