L.K. Kuhl Hello, and thank you for the awesome question!! I believe my favorite fictional couple would have to be Noah and Allie from The Notebook. I loved, loved, loved that book and movie!! The reason they are my favorite couple is because they remind me so much of my husband and I. Just like Noah and Allie, my husband and I started dating a very young age...in high school. We had our fair share of ups and downs and fights like all couples do. We broke up once or twice, but couldn't stand being away from each other and ended up getting back together again and finally getting married. We are soul mates just like Noah and Allie and have been married for almost 31 years. We plan to grow old together and I hope, that like the movie, we can be just as lucky as Noah and Allie and die together so that neither one of us has to be alone. I couldn't bear the thought of being without him. Our love, like theirs, is truly a timeless love story!!
L.K. Kuhl Coffee and lots of it!! Oh, and chocolate to go along with. Some days though, I find it extremely tough to write, so I piddle around on Facebook or do something unconstructive just to get out of writing. But, it's like being on a diet and overdoing it one day, the guilt eats at you. That's what it's like for me if I'm not working on my newest creation, the guilt consumes me.
L.K. Kuhl I'm an introvert, so the best thing about being a writer is to be able to express myself in a way other than talking. My husband always tells me that I have weird dreams, so maybe all along it was the characters in my head wanting to get out. But it feels so good now to be able to share my stories with the world, and I hope people enjoy them as much as I do writing them.
L.K. Kuhl Chocolate and Wine…just kidding, but they do give me a nice boost. When I get writer’s block, I try to keep writing, even if it’s silly, goofy stuff. A lot of times this brings out the good stuff and I can go on from there. If not, I take a walk or exercise, just getting out and moving around gets the creative juices flowing.
L.K. Kuhl Never give up! If I can do it, anyone can! It took me over two years of countless rejection after rejection, but I persevered and kept plugging away. Don't let the rejections get you down and fold you, you can do it! Even the best of the best had rejections There were days when I wanted to give up, but kept on. Besides, who else will catch your dreams if you don't? You create your own destiny. Live it to your fullest!
L.K. Kuhl I am currently working on the second book in the Everlasting Series. This book is called, The One, and I am halfway through. It is getting very exciting!
L.K. Kuhl I got the idea for Everlasting basically from a dream, where my brother-in-law who had recently passed away came to me in my dream and I was able to ask him questions about life after death. The dream was so real and lifelike, I felt he was right there with me.
