Not enough has been written nor shown about L.A. Crime and Justice books and movies. Always New York, so, what better series can you get written by a Los angeles Superior court commissioner and an L.A. Deputy district Attorney (DDA) and not only, is the main character not a cop, nor a federal agent but someone who has sat as a Judge in the Sylmar Juvenile Court for30 years and the DDA having prosecuted cases over 26+ years so hello there, from Jack Gold, Judge and Marc Debbeaudt , DDA. As a Los angeles county bench officer, I saw so many ways that participants in the system could engage in some type of criminal activity and get away with it. The general feel with so many (but not all) persons is that they have a good paying job, now we can either relax or in some cases, excercise dominion over their underlings which we've included in this, our first book.

You can get lost in the world of which you write. The characters become real to you and as long as you keep a list in order not to mix up their names, you can make whatever you want happen. Its an amazing feeling.
