Being able to express yourself and give part of yourself in the characters and the voices. Also you can do things you'd like to do and go places you can only dream of. Then when someone tells you they enjoyed the story, it makes it all worthwhile.

Imagine that if I don't write, the book will never be finished. Then I write one sentence, one paragraph, one page and by then I'm back in the flow of things.

It started as a short story, and then I wrote another until it became a series. Eventually I had enough words to put them all together.
