I deal with writer's block by taking a two or three day break. I become a regular person (sightseeing, reading, and etc.)

The best thing about being a writer is that you get to bring awareness to things that closest to your heart. For instance, my family suffer from Colon cancer, Gardner Syndrome/Familial Adenomatous Polyposis, and I suffer from Hidradenitis Suppurativa. I mention those diseases in my work, so that I bring awareness to them.

According to my mother, I was always in a corner scribbling and writing. I played teacher to my imaginary friends when I was younger (LOL). I was ordered to attend anger management classes when I was a teen; my counselor advised me to write down everything that took place in a given day . I did that for six months. Those six months turned into me writing short stories. I enjoyed writing; writing put me in a relaxing mood. I was able to express how and why I was feeling blue, happy, shy, and etc. It helped me to understand myself better.

I get ideas from several things that I see or hear. Some ideas come from personal experience or experiences of others.
