I like the concept I created in my book Surprise Battle. To be able to go back to 1942 naval battle with a modern submarine I think would be amazing. Basically I would win a portion of the war.

I don't have a reading list. I watch several listings of new books and just grab one when it sounds good.

I always have several concepts recorded. If I reach a block, I do some research on the subject. If that does not work move to another concept for a while. If you have an idea and are blocked from the start. Try a voice recorder and pretend to tell the story talking to a person who has not idea what it is about.

I have Congestive Heart Failure so I am limited in what I can do. Writing keeps my mind in another world away from illness and pain.

I have only been writing for a year. I have certainly learned a lot. I have learned that I have problems in my writing I need to work on. So my advice is to just write what comes to you. Write in natural language don't force it. Read it dozens of times and get some close Beta readers to help you. If it does not go over and sell well, move one. Don't worry about reviews, they are seldom trying to be helpful.

I get ideas from TV, other books, posts on several groups on Facebook and just random thoughts. I always record the idea and then I jump around writing what feels good at that time.

My most recent book is called SIMAT (Super Intelligent Medical Analysis and Treatment). The story about a supercomputer AI system that is taught medicine. It deliver medical we all wish we had. The concept was created at my last doctor's appointment. I sat and watched how inefficient and uncaring they are. There has to be a better way in our future.
