This is in reference to the short read I'm writing with my sister. It's called The Hummingbird Feeder, and it was literally inspired by our hummingbird feeders. We got one on our balcony and quickly found that a dominant male set up shop and protected the feeder with his life, leading to a war between birds that reminds me of only one thing, the Battle of Britain... And so a story was born.

I am working with my sister on a romance short. It's a tear jerker that's got a lovely ending.
It's been a really interesting process, because the Savannah came up with the idea, but had a block as far as the inciting incident. I had a brainstorm and we decided to write it together. It's been weird. We may even have had an argument. But that's not too unusual, we wanted to publish this week but now next week looks likely. Sunday is our cover design day, but we're hosting a super bowl party.
