This book follows a hapless couple, one a mail order bride who finds out she's engaged to an undertaker, and a cowboy who's running from an ardent female admirer twice his size. With Soapy's help, Kat devises a con game that soon has the money rolling in; but it also attracts the attention of Boone Burton, the most relentless detective in Denver. Kat soon finds herself playing a flirtatious game of cat and mouse with Boone. Will Boone capture her -- or will she capture him?
