David Barclay Moore I’m currently writing a new Middle Grade novel and editing an anthology.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
David Barclay Moore There’s room for lots more writers in the world. I think to be the best you can be, you should read, read, read, write, write, write and revise constantly.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
David Barclay Moore For me, the best thing is being able to share my stories with many others.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
David Barclay Moore I usually drink plenty of water, eat a banana, go for a long walk and sleep. When I wake, I usually have a few fresh ideas.

My son and I went to Tweens Read in Houston TX last year. Are you coming back to Houston for any more book cons or signings? After I read your book, I understood the Lego shirt!!! My son and I enjoyed your panel a lot!
David Barclay Moore I’m glad you and your son enjoyed my Tweens Read panel. It was a lot of fun and I love Tweens Read. I hope to be back there in 2020 with a new book.

THANK YOU! one of the best books I have read in a while. I actually checked this book out for myself at the library, but my daughter read it before me. She devoured it in a few hours and came up to me afterward and told me that I had to read it as soon as I was done with the other one I was reading. And I was so glad I did. It was such a wonderful book. My question is when do I get to read more from you?
David Barclay Moore Hi there, Melissa! Thanks so much for the kind words. I'm currently working on my second novel, which should be out in the fall of 2019. But, there "may" be a graphic novel out before then too. Glad you and your daughter enjoyed The Stars Beneath Our Feet! Best. DBM.
