Writing papers for class becomes REALLY easy. And of course, creating a whole new world is awesome. Literally, there is no limit to what one can create with words.

I first came up with the idea for Dimensional in the sixth grade. I really liked the idea of Jedi from Star Wars, but I thought, wouldn't it be cool if the Jedi could teleport? I also remember reading A Wrinkle in Time in the sixth grade, which focused heavily on dimensions, and I was fascinated by the concept of entering different dimensions, moving through time, etc. That was my favorite novel I read in middle school, and in that same class I first began to really hone my creative writing skills. Without my sixth grade English teacher, Ms. Pikus, I don't think I would have grown to love writing nearly as much.

I'm also a personal trainer, so I am currently working on two nonfiction projects for that business I hope to startup soon. In terms of fantasy novels, I wrote the first half of Worlds Between (book two of the Omnicosm) for Nanowrimo 2014 and am in the process of revising and continuing it with hopes that the first draft will be completed by the end of this year.

Keep writing! It's hard, you'll get busy (especially if you're entering college), but it's worth it, and you will improve over time. Writing is like a muscle, and it will atrophy if not trained properly and consistently. Train it often and give it the required nutrients (sleep, food, books), and you will see the most results from your writing. Try and read/write whenever you can, and use whatever you learn from everything you read for the future. Most importantly, NEVER stop learning!
