Susan Coventry Hello Connie,
In answer to your question, I have a Labradoodle named Teddy who is my constant companion. I write in my home office that has a glass door so Teddy lays right outside it where he can see me. Two of my novels have dogs in them, one of which is Better Than Fiction that you just received. I'm currently working on my seventh novel which will also have a dog. Thanks for your question and happy reading!

Susan Coventry So many things can inspire me to write, which is why I keep notebooks all over the house and in my car. Whenever I get inspired, I jot down my ideas so I'll remember them! A lot of ideas come to me when I walk my dog. Inspiration is everywhere!
Susan Coventry Jamie and Claire from Outlander are hands-down my favorite fictional couple. I love their chemistry, their passion and the way they challenge each other. I have read the entire Outlander series and never tired of them!
Susan Coventry I am currently working on my fifth novel which is about a steamy office romance. Kate Stephens works in the Human Resources department of an insurance company. She has a huge crush on Luke Donovan, the assistant manager of the Accounting department. The trouble is that the president of the company frowns on office romances, and neither of them want to jeopardize their careers. Kate and Luke know that getting involved is the last thing they should do, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Stay tuned for further details...
Susan Coventry Two things come to mind right away.
1. To be able to work in my pajamas!
2. To be able to create characters and situations exactly as I want them to be.
I enjoy the creative process of writing and it's fun to see how a story comes together in the end!
Susan Coventry My inspiration for writing See You Then came from a variety of sources.
On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves, is one of my favorite books and it features an "older" woman and a younger man. I liked how she developed the characters and made their relationship realistic. I am also inspired by Jill Shalvis' romance novels, which combine love with humor. Overall, I wanted to write a modern romance with characters that readers will relate to and root for!
