My dog inspired me after what I witnessed at the dog park. It really is an experience to go there. It can and should be fun, but there are so many other factors involved, and it can be a downright scary one. But it is a great place to exercise your dog off leash and play ball with him. One just needs to be aware of what goes on there.

When I acquired my high-energy dog, I decided to go to the dog park, principally because I wanted to tire him out. I used to take him there on a daily basis and was literally bombarded with incidents. One day, one incident too many, I decided to write down everything that had happened there, and realized it actually could become a book.
