Being able to escape from your worries and immerse yourself in a different world. And, if you're feeling really low - you can always take it out on a character. (You can always 'fix' him or her in editing)

I usually do something else. It could be watching a movie or reading a book. Or it could be researching my next book. It doesn't happen often, but when it does the answer to what is blocking my creativity suddenly leaps out at me when I'm least expecting it.
