just discovered you Owen and I am reading you now....you are obviously a nember of my clan..although my name is spelled with an 'a' and yours withman 'e' they are both O'Maolain in Irish - or Gaelic as we say and Gallic as you say. Best wishes, Pat Mullan ?

Owen Mullen Hi... I loved my time in music and when I was young you couldn't have prised me away. But I believe deep down I'm a writer first.

Did you play bass in a band called the Bubbles from Coatbridge with Jim Coventry who was lead singer with the band, and played regularly in McKenzies bar Kirkwood Coatbridge. ?

How do you come up with stories to write?
Owen Mullen Hi Tess, that varies, sometimes a song title Games People Play - an old Joe South song, sometimes a tv programme or documentary, my wife, conversation - so many sources and something just strikes a cord. Owen
