Elizabeth Acker Amazon made me pull the e-book. But I will be posting an audio book.
Elizabeth Acker Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff! One of my favorite books is Wuthering Heights.
Elizabeth Acker Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. To answer your questions:
Are you in contact with your brothers now? No. That was the last time I saw them. If they were to contact me, I'd be happy to hear from them.
Is your mother still living and has she reacted to your writing? As far as I know she is, I am not in contact with her.
How is your sister doing now? She stopped writing to me and hasn't written in about 4 years.

I'm currently writing another book called, Traveling with Dogs. I'm hoping it will answer some of the unanswered questions. Thanks for asking and for reviewing.
Elizabeth Acker Walk away from it. I wrote a funny book called "Fears of a Hypochondriac" while writing this one. It's a silly book of fears. I doubt I'll publish it, but it took my mind off the sad parts in this one. And sometimes just walking in the woods with my dogs helped or talking to friends got me to remember things.
Elizabeth Acker It just feels good. There is a sense of accomplishment. Once it's out there and people are buying your book and liking it, it's a high that can't be put into words. This is my first published book, and I never thought anyone would read it. But I am thrilled to see people (that I don't know) reading it or marking it as something to read. And I love the ratings. I know that this book won't be liked by everyone, but for me it is that they read it and they took the time to rate it as well. And for that I thank everyone for doing so. Though, I truly hope people will like it.
Elizabeth Acker Just do it. I was totally afraid to publish this. It was never meant to be a book. But once I did, it felt like the right thing to do. So my advice is if you want to write, do it. And don't be afraid of what other people think. It's wonderful to see a five star rating, but I also appreciate a lower rating as well. You'll learn from your mistakes and believe me there will be mistakes. Even after having it proof read several times over, I still see a little oops here and there. But those are fixable too. Don't let your inner fear stop you from doing something the rest of you wants to do.
Elizabeth Acker I'm currently writing a book that is a follow up to this one. This next one will be much easier to read and, hopefully, easier to write. It'll be about my travels around the world. It's called "Traveling with Dogs" and it'll be a series.
Elizabeth Acker I wrote seven chapters about my childhood and a professor encouraged me to write the book. I never planned on writing a book, it was just to pass a class. My aunt proof read the chapters before I turned everything in, and she gave it to my grandmother to read. After that, both of them kept telling me to write the book. So I did.
