Philip C. Quaintrell I'm aiming for July/August 2024. Nearly halfway into the book now. Lots of twists and turns in this one!
Philip C. Quaintrell I’m aiming for summer 2024 right now, but if you follow me on social media or sign up to my mailing list via my website, you will be updated regularly on all things Verda 🙌🏻
Philip C. Quaintrell From a timeline point of view: A Time of Dragons, The Ranger Archives, The Echoes Saga. I wrote them in reverse though 😂. It doesn’t really matter where you start, it’s like entering into a circle. And there’s Easter eggs throughout the whole experience that connect everything 👌🏻
Philip C. Quaintrell Hi Michael, this is a great question! Yes, I revamped the entire story to fit into one epic saga (The Echoes Saga) covering all 9 books. The biggest change is simply to the covers and the overall title - you can still read books 1-3 of the old versions and it all flows seamlessly. Having said that, if you're on ebook, they have been credited so do update them on Amazon if you can to get the best version.

Philip C. Quaintrell No firm date yet I'm afraid. This last one is the biggest yet and I want it to be the perfect ending for every character. I'm thinking April at the moment but we'll see. I will advertise it on my social media pages and my website nearer the time.
Philip C. Quaintrell There's no hard release date, but I know it's slated for September.
Philip C. Quaintrell I’m afraid I have no say in the production of the audio books. Podium Audio own the rights in that regard and they control the process. I must admit, you’re the first person to complain of Steven Brand’s narration (at least to me). I’m sorry you’re not happy with him though. Do you only listen to audio books or do you read them too? The ebook is very cheap 👍🏻
Philip C. Quaintrell Hi Brian! It's coming out on the 28th of April!!!!! Yay! Don't forget to review!
Philip C. Quaintrell You will have to forgive my lack of knowledge here, Joy - what is Pub format? I upload a Mobi file to Amazon and they sell it on in that format.
Philip C. Quaintrell the 19th of November is the day! Hurrah! I'll post something official nearer the time, but this is the date of release.
Philip C. Quaintrell Hi Luis! I'm sorry for the confusion - I'm still trying to get my head around this writing gig. The story developed beyond the first three books and became a nine book saga (not finished yet). I intended books 4-6 to be read as a standalone, but they would probably be even better if you had read some of the prior history. To be honest though, you might enjoy the first three books more for having read the last two. I'm getting new covers for the first three later this year and then I'm combining all of them into one whole series. Again, sorry for any confusion! I hope you can still enjoy the story!
Philip C. Quaintrell This new trilogy is an extension of my Echoes Saga, so this particular story came to me while I was writing Empire of dirt (book 2 in the first trilogy). The whole world came to me while I was on a weekend away in the English countryside with some friends. I would wake up earlier than everyone else so that I could stick my earphones in and start writing notes. It also helps that I'm a massive geek...
Philip C. Quaintrell All kinds of things inspire me. Movies and books are good sources but you have to be careful not to accidentally use their ideas. I spend a lot of time on Pinterest because I'm a very visual person and the artwork on there can be amazing.
Philip C. Quaintrell I am currently working on being a new father! Besides that all-consuming side to my life, I'm writing Age of Ruin (Echoes of the Lost: Book 2).
Philip C. Quaintrell Rule 1 - Never stop writing! You'll be knocked back by agents, publishers and even harsh reviews. Just don't stop writing. You get better, you enjoy it more, and you never knew when you're going to write THAT BOOK, the one that launches you into bookshops around the world.

Rule 2 - Refer to rule 1.
Philip C. Quaintrell For me, writing was a hobby that took me away from the stresses of everyday living. To do my hobby full time and call it 'work' is definitely the best thing ever!
